The 48-year-old actor, who gained notoriety for playing villains in multiple motion pictures, passed away in Chennai after suffering a severe heart attack.
It is been stated that Mr. Balaji passed away after being admitted to a Kottivakkam private hospital. He was praised for his parts in movies like Vettaiyadu Vilayadu, Vada Chennai, and Polladhavan and was closely related to the late actor Murali.
The actor, whose real name was T.C. Balaji, had previously performed in Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam films. His most recent Malayalam film was called Eravu.
The late actor’s buddy, Porna J.S. Michael, stated, “We took him to a private hospital in Kottivakkam as he complained of shortness of breath and chest pain.” Around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, a severe heart attack had occurred, and he was pronounced dead.
Before his passing, Balaji had participated in a conversation about the screenplay for the horror film he intended to direct.
According to Mr. Michael, Balaji received eye donation. His funeral is scheduled for Saturday, March 30, 2024, evening in Purasawalkam.

After the actor passed away, the film community expressed their condolences in droves. Actor Radikaa Sarathkumar posted condolences on social media after recalling that Balaji made his debut in Chithi, a well-liked television series produced by her Radaan Mediaworks.
Among those who gave homage were music composer Santhosh Narayanan, film filmmakers Vetrimaran, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Ameer.
Balaji’s mother and his two siblings are still alive.
